During the event, there will be a discussion on the EHRC’s report on how coronavirus has affected equality and human rights and its briefing on considerations for residential care during COVID-19. Plus a presentation of the conclusions and recommendations of Amnesty’s As If Expendable report, published in October 2020, following research into the impact of Government decisions on the rights of older people in care homes in England.
